VELIA
Guided vertical awning for narrow side spaces
Velia is a drop-down vertical awning made for situations where lateral room is tight: offices, glazed façades and apartment-block frontages. Instead of folding arms, the bottom profile runs on a side-guided steel cable, so the fabric stays taut without flapping. In its standard version it is operated by a hand crank with an anti-wind system.

About the model
The system runs in side guides: along a Ø 4 mm steel cable on each side the terminal profile slides, which keeps the fabric tensioned over its full height and holds it on track even where the surface is narrow. The standard version uses a hand crank with an anti-wind mechanism, so it works on façades with no motor or power supply. It comes in three versions depending on the headbox width, covering surfaces from 120 × 150 cm up to 500 × 300 cm (width by height). It ships as standard with PVC Precontraint 622 or Opatex PRO fabric, with further materials from the Tempotest Parà collection, and the powder-coated finish is QUALICOAT or QUALICOAT SEASIDE certified, holding up even in coastal, corrosion-prone environments. The structure is rated wind-resistance class 2.
