Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (the Terms) govern the legal relationship between the Service provider and the User / Customer in relation to the use of the Website, the quote-request process and — where a contract is concluded — the installation work.

The Service provider's activity is the distribution, on-site surveying, configuration and installation of premium pergolas, awnings and shading systems manufactured by RGM Italia (Italy) in Hungary. The Website is not an online shop: no direct purchase is made through it, only free quote requests. Each specific contract is always concluded separately, in writing.

On matters not regulated by these Terms, Hungarian law — and in particular the laws listed below — applies.

The Website and the related installation services are provided by the following sole proprietor.

• Service provider

  Riczu Gábor e.v., a sole proprietorship trading under the brand Riczu Works, which operates the Website and carries out the installation work.

• User

  Any natural or legal person who visits the Website or submits the quote-request form available on it.

• Customer

  A natural or legal person who enters into a written contract for work and services with the Service provider. May be either a consumer or a non-consumer.

• Consumer

  A natural person acting outside the scope of their trade, profession, or business activity (Hungarian Civil Code, Section 8:1(1)(3)).

• Website

  The website at the riczu.hu domain and its subdomains.

• Quote request

  A free, non-binding initial enquiry submitted by the User through the contact form on the Website.

• Quote

  An itemised, fixed-term written offer issued by the Service provider — typically after an on-site survey.

• Contract for work and services

  The written agreement entered into between the Customer and the Service provider on the basis of the accepted Quote and covering the installation.

The Service provider offers the following main services:

The exact technical content, configuration and installation scope of each project is defined individually after the on-site survey.

The User may submit a free, non-binding quote request through the contact form on the Website. The form requires a name and at least one contact channel (phone or email), plus the indication of the planned project type (bioclimatic pergola, pergola awning, awning / glazing).

By submitting the form, the User acknowledges the Privacy notice and consents to the Service provider contacting them at the submitted channels.

A quote request alone does not create a contract or any payment obligation. The Service provider reserves the right not to accept certain requests on grounds of capacity or professional judgment, and will notify the User of this in writing.

1. Quote request: the User submits the form on the Website or contacts us directly via email or phone.
2. Callback: we get back to the User within 1–2 working days to clarify the brief.
3. On-site survey: we carry out a free on-site survey by prior arrangement (within Hungary).
4. Written quote: based on the survey, we send an itemised, time-limited quote (usually valid for 30 days) within 5–15 working days.
5. Contract: upon acceptance, we sign a written contract for work and services covering the technical scope, the contract price, the payment schedule and the delivery deadline.
6. Deposit and production: design, fabrication and scheduling start once the contractual deposit has been received.
7. Installation and handover: installation takes place by the deadline set in the contract, and is closed by a written handover protocol.

The contract price is set individually for each project and listed item by item in the quote. Prices are quoted in HUF and — unless stated otherwise — include materials, fabrication, on-site installation and the professional warranty. VAT is shown separately.

The installation deadline is set in the contract and runs from the receipt of the deposit required for production. The Service provider is entitled to partial performance by prior arrangement with the Customer. Handover is recorded in a written protocol that lists any defects, missing items and the deadline for their remedy.

The Customer is responsible for providing the on-site conditions needed for installation (access, electrical supply, an unobstructed work area and any administrative permits). Delays caused by their absence are not attributable to the Service provider and extend the deadline accordingly.

A quote request submitted through the contact form does not constitute a contract, so the 14-day right of withdrawal under Government Decree 45/2014. (II. 26.) does not apply at this stage.

The contract covers products manufactured to the Customer's measurements and configuration. Under Section 29(1)(c) of Government Decree 45/2014. (II. 26.), the Customer is not entitled to the 14-day right of withdrawal even if they qualify as a consumer — the Service provider notifies the Customer of this separately, in writing, at the time of contract conclusion.

Either party may terminate the contract in writing, with reasoned notice, in the event of a material breach by the other party (Hungarian Civil Code, Section 6:249).

Complaints should primarily be sent directly to us at ajanlat@riczu.hu or on the phone number listed above. The Service provider investigates and responds in writing within 30 days.

The texts, images, photos, renderings, graphic elements and overall structure of the Website are — unless marked otherwise — the intellectual property of Riczu Works and fall under Hungarian Act LXXVI of 1999 on copyright. Copying, reproducing, publishing or using these materials for commercial purposes is only permitted with the prior written consent of the Service provider.

Bespoke designs, technical drawings and visualisations handed over to the Customer remain the intellectual property of the Service provider. The Customer may use the design solely for the subject matter of the contract concluded with us; using it for installation by a third party or for resale is not permitted.

The Service provider compiles the information on the Website with reasonable care. Prices, lead times and technical parameters shown are indicative only; a binding offer is always issued in writing after the on-site survey.

The Service provider is not liable for damages arising from the use of the Website, its temporary unavailability or the outage of third-party services (e.g. hosting or email). Installation liability is capped at the contract price; liability for damage caused by ordinary negligence is excluded to the minimum extent permitted by the Hungarian Civil Code, and in consumer relationships to the extent permitted by law.

These Terms and the legal relationships arising from them are governed by Hungarian law.
