Orientable aluminium louvre roofs that tune the terrace microclimate
RGM Italia's Climax range is a family of motorised bioclimatic pergolas with orientable aluminium louvres: the louvre angle progressively controls shade, ventilation and the amount of light, and the roof seals watertight when it rains. The six models cover everything from the compact Climax Smart to the large-span Climax Big Flow, up to 700 cm wide. Each is available wall-mounted or free-standing (self-supporting).
The system
The point of a bioclimatic pergola is the orientable louvre roof: a watertight cover when closed, shade and airflow when open, and every intermediate position in between, set to the path of the sun.
The Climax models are built from aluminium UNI 6060 profiles with INOX fixings and integrated rainwater drainage inside the columns; the finish is QUALICOAT, or QUALICOAT SEASIDE in coastal settings, applied without visible screws or silicone. The range runs from the Climax Smart, with 12 × 12 cm columns and 0–100° louvre rotation, to the reinforced Flow and Big variants that open to 125°, so there is a precise answer at every scale, from a residential terrace to a hospitality space.
RGM controls the entire production chain in a single 30,000 m² plant, from aluminium casting to testing of the finished product; survey and installation in Hungary are carried out by Riczu.
