Bespoke structures

If the cataloguewon't cover it,we'll design it.

Dividers, railings, sun shades, pavilions, and non-standard metal structures. From design to installation, fitted to the property's style.

Approach

What we mean by “bespoke”

When we use this category

When the brief doesn't fit into the canopy-gate-fence base systems. Then design is the lead role: the client brings the problem or the vision, and we engineer the structure for it.

What it doesn't mean

This is not locksmith work, repair, or wrought-iron decoration. We design and build new structures for one-off briefs the catalogue can't solve. We don't modify existing structures.

Examples

What we've designed before

  • 01

    Railings and stair structures

Indoor or outdoor stair railings, terrace parapets, balcony fronts. Combinations of glass, aluminium, and steel, load-engineered and fitted to the architectural character.

  • 02

    Shading and louver systems

Beyond pergolas: façade louvers, side-privacy louvers, suspended sun shades. Integrated into the architecture, tuned to the façade's rhythm.

  • 03

    Pavilions and garden structures

Freestanding garden pavilions, covered storage, pool-equipment enclosures. Standalone, made-to-size structures — where the brief isn't a wall-mounted standard element.

  • 04

    Dividers

Garden dividers in perforated sheet, glass, or metal combinations. They articulate the garden but keep the view open.

  • 05

    Special gates and openings

Non-standard sizes or mechanisms: four-leaf, vertically opening, fold-into-storage. Used when the solution falls outside the standard gate types.

  • 06

Metal retaining elements and architectural details

Garden retaining-wall caps, stair-tread metalwork, architectural accent elements (e.g. monogrammed aluminium nameplates).

Materials

What we build it from

  • Aluminium

The most common choice: maintenance-free, corrosion-free, formable. Ideal for complex geometry and large elements.

  • Powder-coated steel

For denser character, higher load-bearing, where visual mass also matters. Engineered, with industrial coating.

  • Glass-metal combinations

Especially common for railings and dividers. Tempered safety glass with aluminium or steel framing, mounted to EU standards.

Pricing

We price in two phases

For bespoke work, a catalogue-style m² or linear-metre price doesn't apply: every project is one-off. We price in two phases.

Design phase (orderable on its own):

  • Simpler project (single element, railing, or pavilion)

custom pricing · fixed after the brief

  • More complex project (multiple elements, integrated system)

custom pricing · fixed after the brief

Manufacturing phase: after the detailed design, a concrete material and labour estimate. The order of magnitude depends on size and complexity; typically 20–40% above the comparable gate or fence price for the bespoke design and engineering work.

The signed quote is fixed after the detailed design.

Average run: 8–14 weeks. 3–5 weeks design, 4–7 weeks manufacturing, 2–5 working days installation. Both ends shift with complexity.

References

References on request

Bespoke project documentation is particularly sensitive in terms of client consent, since many projects are tied to premium homes or one-off hospitality venues. If you want references, mention it in the brief: together we'll see which projects are available to share.

Plan it with us

Tell us the brief, even just in outline: site, rough size, use. We'll get back within 1–2 working days, and if the brief fits our profile, we'll set up a concept meeting.
